What to Do Before & After a Facial

A little prep and aftercare makes a big difference. Here's how to get the most from every facial.

Before your facial

• Come with clean skin if you can, or we'll cleanse for you.
• Pause strong actives (retinol, AHA/BHA) for 2–3 days before extraction-based facials.
• Tell us about allergies, recent treatments or medication.
• Avoid waxing or sunburn on the area right before.

After your facial

• First 24 hours: skip makeup, saunas, intense workouts and direct sun.
• Keep skin hydrated and always wear SPF the next day.
• Don't pick at any extraction spots — let them heal.
• Hold off on strong actives for 1–2 days.

What's normal

Slight redness after extraction is normal and settles within a few hours. If you booked add-ons like Aqua Peel or Aqua Glow, your skin may look extra glowy — that's the point.
